1. Returns, refunds, and exchanges
Unused, non-personalized products may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery or pickup. Items must be unused, in original condition, accompanied by proof of purchase, and returned with original packaging when reasonably possible. Contact us before sending a return.
Customers pay return shipping and original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Certain products may carry a 15% restocking fee when that fee is clearly disclosed in the product listing before purchase.
Custom and made-to-order products
Personalized, engraved, custom-designed, customer-configured, and one-of-a-kind products are generally final sale. Digital design, modeling, or setup work that has begun, clearance items, and gift cards are also generally nonreturnable except where required by law.
We will correct, replace, or refund a custom product that arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or materially differs from the approved design.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders
Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery or pickup. Include the order number, a description, and clear photographs of the product and packaging. If we confirm the problem, we may repair, remake, replace, or appropriately refund the item, including reasonable return shipping when we were at fault.
Layer lines, seams, support marks, natural grain, minor scorch or edge darkening, and modest color variation are normal characteristics of 3D printing and laser fabrication—not defects unless they materially affect the stated function or approved design. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
2. Changes, cancellations, and custom projects
A standard-product order may be canceled for a full refund before production, packing, or shipment begins. Custom orders may be canceled for a full refund before design or production begins. After design begins, any refund will exclude completed design, setup, material, and processing costs. After fabrication begins, the order is generally noncancelable and nonrefundable.
Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Changes to dimensions, quantity, materials, complexity, artwork, tolerances, finish, or delivery may require a new quote and completion date.
Customers are responsible for reviewing spelling, dates, dimensions, fit, artwork, placement, colors, materials, and all proof details. Approval authorizes production as shown. We correct errors we introduce; customer-approved details generally do not qualify for a free remake.
Custom projects may require a 50% deposit. Unless stated otherwise in writing, the deposit becomes nonrefundable once design, material purchasing, or production begins. The balance is due before shipment or at pickup.
3. Production, shipping, and local pickup
Production and shipping estimates are not guarantees unless confirmed as guaranteed in writing. If we cannot ship within the promised or legally required time, we will notify the customer and offer the available choices, including agreeing to the delay or canceling the affected order for a refund.
Customers must provide a complete, accurate delivery address and may be responsible for costs caused by address errors. Risk of loss remains with us until carrier-confirmed delivery, except where law requires otherwise. Preserve packaging and report shipping damage promptly.
Carrier, weather, emergency, and other delays outside our reasonable control do not remove cancellation or refund rights required by law.
Local pickup
Pickup orders must be collected by appointment within 30 days after the ready notice unless other arrangements are made. After 60 days and reasonable contact attempts, an unclaimed order may be treated as abandoned where permitted by law. Payments for completed custom work remain nonrefundable.
4. Product characteristics, care, warranty, and safety
3D-printed products may show layer lines, seams, support marks, slight dimensional variation, and color differences between material batches. Natural materials vary in grain, texture, color, and engraving response. Laser work may show darkened edges, smoke residue, or minor surface variation.
Unless expressly labeled otherwise, products are not certified for food contact; are not dishwasher-, microwave-, or oven-safe; and are not engineered safety equipment. Heat, sunlight, moisture, chemicals, and unsuitable loads may deform or weaken materials. Products must not be used for medical, automotive-safety, electrical, fire-protection, life-support, or other safety-critical purposes.
Products may contain small parts, sharp edges, magnets, batteries, cords, or breakable components. Keep them away from children and pets when those hazards are present. Unless specifically labeled as a toy, products are not toys and are not intended for children under three.
Limited workmanship warranty
Products are warranted to be free from material workmanship defects when delivered and to substantially match approved specifications. The warranty excludes normal wear, misuse, modification, accidents, unsuitable exposure or loads, improper installation, customer-supplied materials or files, and normal manufacturing variations.
Where permitted by law, our responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, reperformance, or refund of the affected product or service. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Customer files, materials, and intellectual property
Customers retain rights they already hold in submitted files, artwork, logos, photographs, and text. Submission grants us a limited license to evaluate, quote, modify, manufacture, and deliver the requested work. The customer represents that they own the material or have permission to use and reproduce it.
We may refuse work we reasonably believe is unlawful, unsafe, infringing, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate. We retain ownership of our original design files, methods, templates, and working files unless agreed otherwise in writing. Buying a physical product does not transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights.
Customer-supplied materials are used at the customer’s risk and must be accurately identified. We may refuse unknown, unsafe, contaminated, or unsuitable material. Unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care, we are not responsible for material damaged during ordinary testing or fabrication.
Digital files and design services are nonreturnable once delivery or performance begins unless they materially fail to match agreed specifications. Unless commercial rights are expressly granted, digital files are licensed for personal use and may not be resold, redistributed, shared, or used to manufacture products for sale. We will not publicly display clearly private or confidential custom work without permission.
6. Privacy, cookies, and advertising
We collect information reasonably needed to operate the website and fulfill orders, including contact and delivery details, order and project information, uploaded materials, payment confirmation, device and browser information, website activity, and marketing preferences.
We use it to quote and support projects, process and deliver orders, prevent fraud, operate and improve the website, meet legal and accounting obligations, and send permitted marketing communications. Shopify, payment providers, carriers, hosting, analytics, communication, advertising, and professional service providers may process information for these purposes.
We do not sell personal information for money. We may use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and similar services to understand website activity, measure advertising results, and show relevant ads. These services may use cookies, pixels, IP addresses, device identifiers, and browsing activity for analytics, conversion measurement, and—when enabled—personalized or targeted advertising. Some privacy laws may define these disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands.
We do not knowingly provide sensitive personal information for targeted advertising or direct targeted advertising to children under 13.

Where applicable, we honor valid requests to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and legally required universal opt-out signals. Disabling advertising cookies may make ads less personalized but will not necessarily prevent all advertising.
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, warranties, file management, accounting, disputes, security, and legal compliance. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion; some records may need to be retained. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Pricing and website terms
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change before an order is accepted. Applicable taxes, shipping, design, setup, rush, and other fees are disclosed before purchase or in the approved quote. If an obvious pricing or description error affects an accepted order, the customer may approve the correction or cancel for a full refund.
Website text, branding, graphics, photographs, designs, and original product imagery belong to Parachute 3D Printing & Hobby LLC or are used with permission. Users may not unlawfully copy or exploit them, disrupt site security, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate others, or use the site for unlawful or infringing activity.
The website is provided for general shopping and information purposes without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free access. These terms are governed by Colorado law without limiting mandatory consumer protections elsewhere.
We may update these policies as our services and obligations change. The posted effective date identifies the current version, and the policy in effect when an order is placed will generally govern that order.
